Interdisciplinary art: creation and production
A window into other worlds, a box full of opportunities, a leap, a playground where you let your imagination fly, a breaking of rules. The expansion of creative language.
Aiming to become professional in multidisciplinary creation and cultural management, between 2011 and 2013 I earned the Master Music as interdisciplinay art from the University of Barcelona and the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña.
In 2011, together with the violinist Maria Amorós, I created the entertaiment company Mots de Fusta, a personal proyect with which we have produced interdisciplinary performances since then that have been played in prestigious halls and educational institutions in Spain, like Sala Moritz, the Museo del Modernismo de Barcelona, the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), the Foment de les Arts i el Disseny de Catalunya (A-FAD) institution, the Basílica de Santa María del Mar de Barcelona, the Auditori Cosmocaixa de Barcelona, Juventudes Musicales de Sitges, the Foment Mataroní, the Sala Ramona, the Sala Imagina't, the Auditorio Barradas in l'Hospitalet del Llobregat, the Escola Labouré, the Escola de Música Creu Alta de Sabadell, the Escola del Mar de Barcelona, the Public School Turó Blau or the Escola Jesuïtes de Casp, among others. We got two artist residencies in the Centro Cívico Can Felipa and the Laboratori d’Arts Escèniques Tísner. Our performance Effie l’elefanta was selected to participate in the Circuito Abecedaria going on tour in Andalucía.
In 2012 I worked for the institution Fomento de les Artes y el Diseño de Cataluña (FAD), in the field of cultural management.
I collaborated in several interdisciplinary projects under the direction of Dra. Magda Polo, both in creative and interpretative areas. This projects have taken me to halls like the auditorium of the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona, the FAD (Fomento de les Artes y el Diseño de Cataluña) or the Sala Moritz.
I have created and producted entertaiment plays for children with the companies Capriccio Infantil, playing for primary schools, and Als núvols, a specialized in performances for babies between 0 and 3 years old, in local childcare centres in Barcelona.
